my great grandmother mary anne dwyer was readmitted in the 1940s into the old wards on the same grounds as millbrook rise stands on . the mental asylum .
the old former wards on millbrook rise , the old wards which were part of the old royal derwent hospital where millbrook rise asylum sits to this day, my great grandmother was in their for the rest of her life until she died in 1949.
